Gabriel
Gabriel Ride Control Products was born in 1907, when Claude Foster, a pioneer in the automotive parts industry, founded the company named after his first product(Gabriel horns for horse-driven carriages). Foster was later granted the first US patent for direct acting shock absorbers for inventing the first shock absorbing device. From then on, Gabriels success snowballed. The company became synonymous with technology-advanced products like Hijackers and Striders. Gabriel created the first gas shock absorber, first hydraulic shock absorber, first adjustable shock absorber, and the list goes on. Gabriel Ride Control Products has been a prominent name in the shock absorbing industry for over 100 years now, and still going strong.
